Troubleshooting
Problem
This document contains the steps to restore your system directory entries.
Resolving The Problem
Use the following steps to restore your system directory entries. Note that the restored directory entries will reflect the data as it appeared at the time of that QUSRSYS was saved.
File information can be obtained from Office Services Concepts and Programmer's Guide (SH21-0703-00), Chapter 3, page 3.
| Important Note: These logical and physical files are for the directory entries only. It is important that your system be in a restricted state while this process is being performed. |
| 1. | Put the system into restricted state. |
| 2. | Delete all the known logical files for system dir: o DLTF FILE(QUSRSYS/QAOZL*) o DLTF FILE(QUSRSYS/QAOFL*) (may not have these files) o DLTF FILE(QUSRSYS/QAOKL*) |
| 3. | Delete all the known physical files for system dir: o DLTF FILE(QUSRSYS/QAOZP*) (may not have these files) o DLTF FILE(QUSRSYS/QAOFP*) (may not have these files) o DLTF FILE(QUSRSYS/QAOKP*) |
| 4. | If any physical file cannot be deleted because of error message CPF3219, you should use the DSPDBR command to determine any remaining logical files that need to be deleted first and then DLTF to remove the logical file, and DLTF the physical file. |
| 5. | RSTOBJ the QAOKP* |
| 6. | RSTOBJ the QAOKL* |
| 7. | RSTOBJ the QAOF* (may not have these in all systems) |
| 8. | RSTOBJ the QAOZ* |
| 9. | INZSYS |
| 10. | CHGSYSDIRA ALWSCH(*NO) |
| 11. | CHGSYSDIRA ALWSCH(*YES) |
