Resource Box link Best Practices

2. Select Share button to the right of the file in Box.

5. Ensure that you have the 'Shared link is created' toggle on as shown below.

6. Depending on the visibility level of this resources follow the following best practices for grabbing a shared link from box:

• For Business Partners, ensure that the 'People with the link' option is selected with 'Can view only' permissions.

• For IBMrs, ensure that the 'People in your company' option is selected with 'Can view only' permissions.

7. Select the Link Settings option.

8. Under the 'Link Expiration' field select the checkbox for 'Disabled Shared Link on' as shown below and ensure to pick a date that is reasonable for this URL link to expire.

9. Feel free to check the 'Allow users with this shared link to download this item' as you deem fit, but then click Save to save your changes.

10. Copy the URL after saving the 'Link Settings'.

11. Update that URL to the Resource URL field as shown in the How to add a resource to a collection runbook
