Resolving issues with read-only containers in directory-container storage pools

Problem

Information is provided about handling containers that have a read-only state in IBM Spectrum Protect directory-container storage pools.

Symptom

A container in a directory-container storage pool can have its state changed from available to read-only. This change can occur because of an input/output (I/O) error or a defect such as APAR IT22039.
