Resolving IQQG0181E: The constructor ContentCollector4SharePoint initialization process failed

Problem

Installing IBM Content Collector P8 Content Search Services Support with Microsoft SharePoint source documents gives the following error in the CSS server trace0.log:
IQQG0181E The constructor ContentCollector4SharePoint initialization process failed

Symptom

When IBM Content Collector P8 Content Search Services Support is installed with Microsoft SharePoint source documents, the ContentCollector4SharePoint initialization process fails.

Cause

This error occurs only when you check the 'Microsoft SharePoint documents' option on the Source Documents window.
On completing the installation and restarting the CSS service on the CSS server, ContentCollector4SharePoint Constructor cannot find the afu_sp.xsl file resulting in the following error:
IQQG0020E com.ibm.ecmts.constructor.exceptions.ConstructorInitException: AFUI0090E The XSL file 'C:\Program Files\IBM\Content Search Services\CSS Server\\config\afu_sp.xsl' that you specified using the 'XmlTransformationXslFile' configuration option could not be found.
Check that the specified file name points to a valid XSL file.
With this error, Content Collector for SharePoint document indexing also fails.

Resolving The Problem

  1. Copy the afu_sp.xsl file manually on the CSS server:
    From: <installation_directory>\ContentCollector_CSS_Support
    To: <installation_directory>\Content Search Services\CSS Server\config
  2. Restart the CSS service on the CSS server.
