Resolving The Problem

This document explains how to resolve an ambiguous message BRM9999 RC9001.

Adding virtual volumes to image catalogs will encounter BRM9999 RC 9001 if the virtual volume being added to BRMS does not exist in the image catalog. A review the BRMS flightrec shows BRM133E - volume not found. The fact that the volume is missing is not obvious from the BRM9999 message.

Adding the volume ID to the image catalog resolves the problem.
