Resetting the baseline naming template of a UCM project to default

Question & Answer

Question

How can I reset the IBM® Rational® ClearCase® UCM baseline naming template for a UCM project back to the default?

Answer

The default UCM baseline naming template is "basename".

If a different baseline naming template has been set for a project and you wish to change it back to the default, the default can be reinstated by running the following chproject command:

cleartool chproject -bln basename <project>
