RequisitePro User Tutorial and Guide Information

There is a Tutorial and a Quick Tour item in the RequisitePro Help menu. These two items will help a new user get started.

The Tutorial and a Quick Tour are also accessible from the RequisitePro installation directory.

Go to this directory: "<install drive>:\Program Files\Rational\RequisitePro\help\"

The two files are "tutorial.html" and "QuickTour.html". "Tutorial.html" covers requirements management, introducing RequisitePro, documenting requirements, organizing requirements and tracking requirements. "QuickTour.html" covers creating a project, document and requirements in RequisitePro.

Both will have screen captures to help guide you along and explain what you are looking at.

If you are looking for a specific "how-to" document, the built-in RequisitePro help will allow you to search specific keywords and explain step by step on how to perform the task. You can access this help file in two ways:

1. Open RequisitePro and go to the Help menu and select "Contents and Index".
2. In the same help directory as above, locate the file "REQPRO.HLP" and double-click on it. This will launch the same "Contents and Index" window in step 1.
