Required interim fixes for Websphere Application Server and WebSphere Process Server when installing Portal Version 6.1, 6.1.0.1 and 6.1.0.2

Troubleshooting


Problem

When installing IBM WebSphere Portal 6.1, 6.1.0.1 or 6.1.0.2, if you want to use a higher version of WebSphere Application Server than is listed in the Information Center then you will need to apply the appropriate interim fixes as shown below.

Symptom

The following table displays all the required interim fixes for various versions of WebSphere Application Serer and WebSphere Process Server when installing WebSphere Portal 6.1, 6.1.0.1 and 6.1.0.2.

None of these required fixes are officially tested, however they are fully supported and expected to function without problem.

WebSphere Portal 6.1, 6.1.0.1 or 6.1.0.2 InfoCenter.

None of these fixes are available on the WebSphere Portal version 6.1.0.0 Setup CD. They will need to be downloaded from either the WebSphere Application Server Support, WebSphere Process Server Support sites or Fix Central.

**Note: WebSphere Process Server is optional, therefore Portal does not require it to function.
