Troubleshooting
Problem
The source replication server fails to report the message "Another session is already pending or active" coming from the source vSnap. For example, we would expect to see the following message on the source replication server:
ERROR,<TimeStamp>,Replication Failed (Failed to start Storage Replication Failed to get storage replication session for server <Source-vSnap) session id <SessionId> message :"Another session is already pending or active for this relationship"type :"DuplicateSessionError").
Symptom
The Target vSnap Server goes offline and "zpool status" output, shows RESILVER (repair) operation in progress.

pool: vpool1
state: ONLINE
status: One or more devices is currently being resilvered. The pool will
continue to function, possibly in a degraded state.
action: Wait for the resilver to complete.

In the virgo log there will be "Failed to collect" messages like the following:
Caused by: java.util.concurrent.ExecutionException:
com.catalogic.ecx.serviceprovider.common.storage.management.exception.StorageManagementException: Storage management get pool exception. Failed to get storage pools on server <Target vSnap Server>:"Failed to collect pool information"type :"PoolInfoError"

In the linux system error log (/var/log/messages), there will be I/O error like the following that suspends the "vpool" and starts the "resilvering" process.
<TimeStamp> <Target-vSnap> kernel: WARNING: Pool 'vpool1' has encountered an uncorrectable I/O failure and has been suspended.
In the replication joblog, shows the following message:
<TimeStamp> ,Replication Failed (Failed to start Storage Replication Failed to get storage replication session
for server <Source-vSnap> replication session id <SessionId> message : "Another session is already pending or active for this relationship"type :"DuplicateSessionError")
for server <Source-vSnap> replication session id <SessionId> message : "Another session is already pending or active for this relationship"type :"DuplicateSessionError")
