Replace Token step replaces replacement values with Windows variables

Troubleshooting


Problem

Attempts to use the Replace Token step in IBM UrbanCode Deploy to replace a string with a string ${VARIABLE} results in ${VARIABLE} being resolved to the value of the Windows variable %VARIABLE%.

Symptom

The replacement value used in the Replace Tokens step is not written used for replacement but the value of Windows variable %VARIABLE%.

A replacement text ${APPDATA}.
