Question
How to remove all of the IBM® Rational® RequisitePro® bookmarks from a document?
Cause
When a Rational RequisitePro document is saved to a Word document using RequisitePro's Document > Save As... command, the resulting Microsoft® Word document contains the bookmarks from the original document.
Answer
The RequisitePro bookmarks can be removed using Word Insert > Bookmark menu by selecting each bookmark with REQ in the name and using the Delete option to remove them one at a time.
To remove all RequisitePro bookmarks in a document at one time, use the attached utility.
To use the utility you must have the Word document opened.
The utility will display all RequisitePro bookmarks in the document.
You must then select the Remove Bookmarks button to remove the RequisitePro bookmarks.
When the utility is finished removing the bookmarks, the dialog will update with a statement indicating that the bookmarks have been removed and that the document must be saved in order to commit the changes.
