Due to the nature and quantity of the problems, remote CD installation is not supported on this system. SUSE and IBM are working to fix these problems for future versions of SUSE's software.

The CD-ROM detection problems are a failure in SUSE's installer to recognize the remote CD device. IBM is working with SUSE to integrate the necessary updates to their installer so that this will work more seamlessly in the future.
