Abstract

IBM SPSS Collaboration and Deployment Services 9.0 is available. This release provides important product enhancements and corrections. It has gone through a targeted regression test suite aimed at validating the roll up of escalated defect resolutions that have gone in this release.

Deprecated and removed features

IBM Webpshere Application Server is deprecated from IBM SPSS Collaboration and Deployment Services

Docker support for Repository Server is removed.

IBM tWAS Deprecation Notice:

  • IBM SPSS Collaboration and Deployment Services (CaDS) Version 9.0 has deprecated the use of IBM WebSphere Traditional Application Server (tWAS). IBM Webpsere Traditional Application Server has no roadmap to support higher of JRE 8, which constrains CaDSs roadmap for future developments.
  • It is encouraged to deploy CaDS 9.0 on IBM WebSphere Liberty embedded, which offers a modern architecture, improved performance, and long-term support aligned with IBM’s strategic direction.
  • If you are unable to migrate from traditional WebSphere Application Server to WebSphere Liberty, IBM has provided an interim fix (which covers the LI of CaDS 9.0 ) to enable continued operation of CaDS 9.0 on tWAS.
