Abstract
This document provides links to supplemental information for each IBM Cloud Pak System W3500, W3550, W3700, and W4600 release.
Content
Use the links in the following table to access the supplemental information that is published with each release.
For links to IBM Documentation (IBM Docs), see this page: Documentation for IBM Cloud Pak System.
"Included firmware" documents are not published for fix packs that do not include a firmware update.
Starting with version 2.3.0.0, release notes are published only for major releases and not for fix packs (for example, V2.3.x.x). Therefore, the "Release notes by Version" link is the same for each major release and subsequent fix pack. If a fix pack requires release notes that are specific to that release, they are listed in the "List of fixes" link for that release in a section titled "See the following known limitations". If this section does not exist for a particular release, there are no specific release notes for that fix pack other than the release notes that were previously published for the associated major release (the link in the "Release Notes by Version" column).
** Applies to W3500 (MT8558), W3550 (MT8564), W3700 (MT 8536), and W4600 (MT9568-CVM) systems.
(1) Applies to the W3500, W3550, and W4600 systems for Intel, which are not supported in Version 2.3.3.7.
## Applies to the W3700 system for Power, which is not supported until Version 2.3.3.6.
$2.3.3.2 release is related to the removal of entitlement for IBM BigFix from W3500, W3550, and W4600. For more information, see https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/cloud-pak-system-w3500/2.3.3?topic=service-bigfix-procurement.
&2.3.2.1 release is related to the removal of entitlement for IBM BigFix from W3700 in Power.
Hosted VMware environments are deprecated in Version 2.3.3.0. They are still fully supported for compatibility with earlier versions. However, they are no longer enhanced and must be avoided for new deployments from Version 2.3.3.0 or later.
