Reinstall the Microsoft Visual Studio Integration feature after installing a new version of Microsoft Visual Studio

Troubleshooting

Problem

If you install a new version of Microsoft Visual Studio after the installation of IBM® Rational ClearCase, you must reinstall the Microsoft Visual Studio Integration feature in order to install the integration into the new version of Visual Studio.

Note: As of ClearCase® versions 9.0.1.12, 9.0.2.4, and 9.1.0.1, this process is no longer needed because the user now has the ability to select into which version of Visual Studio they want the integration installed. Since there is an option for each version of Visual Studio. a modify operation in Installation Manager correctly detects that a new version of Visual Studio is available and the user has the option to have the integration installed into the new version.

Symptom

IBM® Rational ClearCase Visual Studio Integration is missing in Microsoft Visual Studio after you install a new version of Microsoft Visual Studio.
