Troubleshooting
Problem
This document shows the DSNX reinitialization process.
Resolving The Problem
To reinitialize the DSNX environment on the IBM® OS/400® or IBM® i5/OS® system, do the following:
1 | Vary off the SNUF device. |
2 | End the QDSNX subsystem. If the SNUF device runs under another subsystem (for example, QINTER), that subsystem should also be ended. |
3 | Delete the QDSNX library. |
4 | Issue the following command: CALL QDXINST ('1' ' ') Note: The space is after the '1' and within the second set of ' '. This CALL is passing two parameters, a '1' and a ' ' (space). |
5 | Start the QDSNX subsystem and the SNUF device subsystem, if different. |
6 | Vary on the SNUF device. |
