Problem

Install of Connect:Direct for Windows fails with a RegSetValue error

Symptom

Install of Connect:Direct for Windows with an error window.

EXAMPLE Error Message

Error: ReSetValue failed on key: SOFTWARE\Sterling Commerce\Uninstall\{57C52B32-5DD2-42B8-BD91-0DA-7E8DF7E21}\VersionNT

CDWinInst log file shows the following error:

MSI (c) (64:84) [11:36:55:382]: Machine policy value 'AlwaysInstallElevated' is 0
MSI (c) (64:84) [11:36:55:382]: User policy value 'AlwaysInstallElevated' is 0
MSI (c) (64:84) [11:36:55:382]: Running product '{57C52B32-5DD2-42B8-BD91-0DA7E8DF7E21}' with user privileges. DisableMsi policy is set to or defaulted to 1. This is the client and the user does not have full admin token. Evaulation is delayed until after credentials provided. This install could still be blocked
