Troubleshooting
Problem
Only one user encounter the error. The user PC is Windows 7. Dual monitor is in use. User running controller via Citrix session. User was able to log in controller via Citrix before, but now it gives red cross in menu and error message after log in. There are current windows update on the PC.
Symptom
After log in controller, there is red cross in menu and error message shows:
IBM Cognos Controller Error
Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click
Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.
Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
Click on detail button.
Application does not support just-in-time (JIT)
debugging. See the end of this message for details.
