Receiving error: Unable to enqueue to orchestration: org.hibernate.exception.ConstraintViolationException: Could not execute JDBC batch update.

Problem

In WebSphere Cast Iron 6.1.0.2 and earlier versions, jobs error out intermittently with error message: "Unable to enqueue to orchestration: org.hibernate.exception.ConstraintViolationException: Could not execute JDBC batch update."

Symptom

Orchestration job errors out with the above error message.

Cause

Product defect. Duplicate Orchestration jobs are generated.

Diagnosing The Problem

The following error messages are received while running the orchestration jobs:

mbean is not registered or Unable to enqueue to orchestration: org.hibernate.exception.ConstraintViolationException:Could not execute JDBC batch update.

Resolving The Problem

This product defect is fixed in CIOS 6.1.0.3. Upgrading the appliance to v6.1.0.3 should address the issue.
