This document provides information about installing the IBM Maximo Application Suite 9.0.5 patch release.

     IBM Maximo Application suite catalog changes: IBM Maximo Operator Catalog v9 (241107)

Important changes added to the patch

Multiple architecture support:
  • Multiple architecture support for Maximo Application Suite core and Maximo Manage base 9.0.5
  • Maximo Application Suite core and Maximo Manage base now support multiple architectures including IBM System/s390x (s390x) to leverage existing Red Hat OpenShift capabilities through the Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform for scalability and resilience.
  • You can choose to install or migrate your existing Maximo Application Suite core and Maximo Manage base on the IBM Z processing platform.
  • Note: If Maximo Application Suite core and Maximo Manage base are configured on IBM System/390x architecture, consider the following for prerequisite software.
  • MongoDB is supported as an external service only.
  • Internal IBM Db2® database and Grafana operators are not supported.

Known issues fixed in the IBM Maximo Application Suite 9.0.5 release:
  • DT398765 - When templateMode is User in SmtpCfg CR and the user does not have a language set, emails are not sent
  • DT400987 - When importing users, the value set for the authorized User column is not being fulfilled if the value for the admin entitlement__admin field is NONE
