Abstract
Standard users of Microsoft® Windows® 8, Microsoft Windows Server 2012, Microsoft Windows 7, Microsoft Windows Server 2008, and Microsoft Windows Vista that have Windows User Account Control (UAC) enabled can use IBM® Rational® RequisitePro client for Windows.
Content
The first time that users open the Rational RequisitePro client on the latest Windows releases, they are prompted to select a working directory. This working directory must be located outside the Program Files, Program Files x86, or Windows directories. By default, Rational RequisitePro offers a working directory in the Windows user home directory (C:\Users\<username>\RqData).
After the working directory is selected, standard users on the latest Windows releases that have UAC set by default are able to perform common tasks in the Rational RequisitePro client for Windows.
Note: The feature for taking a document offline is not available when UAC is enabled in Rational RequisitePro versions 7.1.1.8, 7.1.2.5, and 7.1.3.1.
Rational RequisitePro versions 7.1.1.9, 7.1.2.6 and 7.1.3.2 have been updated to enable the feature for taking a document offline when UAC is enabled.
