Rational Performance Tester hangs when executing long schedules

Problem

This technote explains how to resolve the problem of IBM® Rational® Performance Tester hanging when executing long schedules.

Symptom

Before the Rational Performance Tester workbench hangs, the Rational Performance Tester process uses up to 100% CPU. The system is not usable until the Rational Performance Tester process is killed.
