Rational Build Forge fails to start when using an SQL Server instance

Troubleshooting


Problem

Attempts to start IBM Rational Build Forge result in failure when it is configured to connect to a SQL Server instance.

Symptom

The following is an example of the error message appeared in the rbf-services log, usually the Tomcat catalina log.
