Troubleshooting
Problem
We are constantly testing Rapport against hundreds of browser add-ons. However, you might be running an add-on that has not been tested with Rapport and does not properly handle Rapport's blocking activity.
You can try to disable your browser add-ons to verify if any may be conflicting with Rapport:
Disabling Google Chrome add-ons
To disable Google Chrome add-ons:
- Open Chrome and click on the Chrome menu icon (three dots at the top-right)
- Go to More tools > Extensions
- Disable all active add-ons while leaving Rapport's add-on active.
* To disable an add-on, uncheck the 'Enabled' checkbox beside it. - Restart your browser.
Disabling Firefox add-ons
To disable add-ons:
- Open Firefox, click the menu
at the top right of the browser - Click Add-ons
- Select the 'extensions' tab on the left
- Disable all active add-ons while leaving Rapport's add-on active.
* To disable an add-on, please click on 'Disable' to the right of the addon's name. - Restart your browser.
Disabling Internet Explorer add-ons
To disable all add-ons:
Click on the Start Menu > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Internet Explorer (No Add-ons).
For Windows 8 / 8.1: Right-click on the Internet Explorer (IE) icon and click 'Start InPrivate Browsing'.
To disable add-ons one by one:
- Open Internet Explorer and choose Tools > Manage Add-ons.
- Select the add-on to disable and click the 'Disable' button (bottom-right).
- Click 'OK' to continue and restart your browser.

Disabling Microsoft Edge add-ons
To disable Microsoft Edge add-ons:
- Open Edge and click on the Edge menu icon
(three dots at the top-right) - Go to Extensions
- Disable all active add-ons except for IBM Security Rapport.
* To disable an add-on, click or slide the blue toggle to the left 'Off' setting. - Restart your browser.
