Troubleshooting
Problem
When trying to open a source code file, IBM Rational Application Developer (RAD) crashes with resulting core dump.
Symptom
JVM crash with exit code = 1
A similar crash was previously resolved by adding in eclipse.ini the lines below:
-Dorg.eclipse.swt.browser.DefaultType=mozilla
-Dorg.eclipse.swt.browser.XULRunnerPath=/usr/lib/xulrunner-compat
-Dorg.eclipse.swt.browser.UseWebKitGTK=true
However it did not solve the problem this time.
A new XULRunner 1.9.2 has also been installed to be compatible with RAD 9.0.
