This document describes the Gather JDBC version in the QMGTOOLS library.
Step 1 Install QMGTOOLS
If the QMGTOOLS toolkit has not yet been installed, you should refer to the following document for how to download and install the QMGTOOLS toolkit on your IBM i server.
Step 2 To get to the Gather JDBC Version option, either run command CALL QMGTOOLS/GETJDBCVER or get to the Client/Server option from the main QMGTOOLS menu (GO QMGTOOLS/MG) and select Gather JDBC Version.
Collects this information and saves it into a zip file to be sent to IBM for analysis. These are the data it currently collects:
- java -Djava.ext.dirs=: -cp /QIBM/ProdData/HTTP/Public/jt400/lib/jt400.jar utilities.AboutToolbox
- java -Djava.ext.dirs=: -cp /QIBM/ProdData/OS400/jt400/lib/jt400native.jar utilities.AboutToolbox
- javap -extdirs /qibm/userdata/java400/ext -l -c com.ibm.db2.jdbc.app.DB2Driver | grep V[0-9]
- DSPOBJD OBJ(QSYSDIR/QJVAJDBC) OBJTYPE(*SRVPGM) DETAIL(*SERVICE) OUTPUT(*PRINT)
