Problem

A report has two queries. One populates the prompt page while the other populates the report page. Each query runs successfully independently. When run as one report specification, the prompt page comes up, then a value is selected, then press finish and an error appears.

Symptom

QE-DEF-0325 The logon failed for the following reason:
RQP-DEF-0068 Unable to connect to at least one database during a multi-database attach to 2 database(s) in: DBNAME dbname
UDA-SQL-0098 The local database name 'dbname' occurs more than once in the multi-database connection.

Cause

Datasource name in Framework Manager was lower case but it is uppercase in Cognos Connection

Resolving The Problem

Rename the upper case datasource in Cognos Connection to match the FM datasource name (which is case sensitive) and re-publish the package from Framework Manager
