Problem

Python's request module always returns certificate verify failed while connecting to ASCD to submit spark job

Symptom

An error is raised from the "request" module in the python interactive shell while connecting to ASCD to submit a spark job.

The client receives an SSL Handshake error. See the error once request.get() is called like below:

>>> resp = requests.get(url,auth=("user1","XXXXX"),verify=ssl_cert)
