APAR Error Description / Circumvention
-------------------------------------------------
Currently, the QzruClSp API, when used to call a procedure
exported from a service program, can pass no more than 7
parameters to the exported procedure. Each parameter can be
passed as either an integer or a pointer. If the QzruClSp API's
argument indicating the number of parameters to pass to the
exported procedure (argument number 5) is greater than 7, the
API will signal escape message MSGCPF3C1D "Length specified in
parameter &1 not valid".
CORRECTION FOR APAR 'SE75109' :
-------------------------------
The QzruClSp API has been enhanced to allow up to 248 parameters
to be passed to the exported procedure; however, the following
restriction will apply. If the number of parameters passed to
the exported procedure is more than 7, the format of all of the
parameters passed must be pointer, including the first 7. For
compatibility, if the number of parameters passed to the
exported procedure is fewer than 8, the format of the parameters
can still be integer or pointer. Refer to the KnowledgeCenter
API documentation for more information.
CIRCUMVENTION FOR APAR 'SE75109' :
----------------------------------
Pass fewer than 8 parameters to the exported procedure. Also,
one way to pass more than 7 parameters would be to group
multiple parameters into a structure and pass the structure as a
single pointer parameter.
