APAR Error Description / Circumvention

-----------------------------------------------
While running the Start Archived Storage Management (STRASMOND)
command, if the process detects that the size of the aggregate
to which a new object is being added is not correct, the
aggregate is closed and the object to be added is not processed.
However, the process continues as if the object was added
successfully, causing the object to be deleted.

This problem occurred after production data was inadvertently
replaced with backup data due to the incorrect use of High
Availability (HA) replication software. It is highly unlikely
that this problem will occur during normal operations. However,
it is strongly recommended that you apply this PTF as a
preventative measure, even if you do not use HA replication
software.

CORRECTION FOR APAR SE66434 :
-----------------------------
With this PTF applied, if the Archived Storage Management
process detects an aggregate with an incorrect size, it closes
the aggregate. It does not add the object to the aggregate. It
does not delete the object. It leaves the object in its original
location so that the next time the STRASMOND command is run, the
object can be aggregated successfully.

If an incorrect aggregate size is detected, the job log for the
Archived Storage Management process will contain both an OND0557
message and an OND0523 message with Return Code 5. The Archived
Storage Manager will abort. None of the remaining objects are
processed.
