APAR Error Description / Circumvention

-------------------------------------------------
A third-party application is generating *USERASCII spooled files
that are printed to a Zebra label printer using a *LAN 3812 SNMP
printer device description. These spooled files print
successfully, but occasionally the writer will fail with
MSGCPF33D6 "Buffer -1 not available" and MSGCPF3473 "Writer
&3/QSPLJOB/&1 did not end normally".

CORRECTION FOR APAR 'SE60357' :
-------------------------------
The SNMP printer driver has been changed to not end the writer
if it gets a CPF33D6 exception when reading a spooled file.  The
spooled file will be held, and the writer will proceed to the
next available file.

Special Instructions

Before applying or removing this PTF in immediate mode (without an
IPL), you should first end all printer writers or end the QSPL
subsystem.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUPERSEDED PTF SI50661 :
=================================================

The SNMP system driver program will now attempt to connect with the
printer using each community in the system SNMP configuration file
until if finds one supported by the printer.  If unable to access the
printer community using any of these names, it will try once more using
"public".

To update the community names in the configuration file, use the
CFGTCPAPP APP(*SNMP) command and take option 2 "Work with communities
for SNMP", then option 1 to add your printer community name.  The
change will take effect the next time a writer is started.
