APAR Error Description / Circumvention
-------------------------------------------------
Customer had a set of .ind and .out files in an IFS directory
that the Content Manager OnDemand directory monitor processed
successfully, appending .PRC to the .ind file name as expected.
Later, the same .ind file was inadvertently placed back into the
monitored IFS directory.
The monitor issued message CPFA0A0 after loading the duplicate
file. The message was issued when the monitor was not able to
append the .PRC extension to the .ind file because it already
existed in the directory from the previous load. The monitor
continued to process the input .ind file repeatedly since it
never successfully renamed the .ind file. The loading continued
until the monitor was ended manually. This resulted in a number
of duplicate files loaded into Content Manager OnDemand.
CORRECTION FOR APAR 'SE60277' :
-------------------------------
If a duplicate file is introduced to a monitored directory, it
will be renamed with a file extension of .DUP (or .DUP1 for a
second duplicate, and so forth) and not processed. A new message
will be sent to both the job log and the QSYSOPR message queue
noting this has occurred so that the user can delete the
duplicate file and take action to stop introducing duplicates,
or rename it with a unique name so that it can be processed
successfully. The monitor will then continue on to the next file
without looping.
