APAR Error Description / Circumvention

A parallel restore object (RSTOBJ) operation may fail with:

msgCPF3769 f/QSRRSDEQ Data encrypted or not save data.
msgCPF3715 t/QCMD     File not selected. Data encrypted or not
valid.
msgCPF3780 t/QCMD     Specified file for library ... not found.

or

msgCPF3791 f/QSRRSDEQ While processing SRDS ... encountered end
of file

The media definition specified for the RSTOBJ command contains
starting positions for some of the media files but not for all
of the media files.

CORRECTION FOR APAR SE51801 :

Parallel restore code has been updated to properly restore
objects when the specified media definition contains a starting
position for some of the media files but not for all of the
media files.

CIRCUMVENTION FOR APAR SE51801 :
--------------------------------
To avoid this problem, if you use BRMS, create this data area:
CRTDTAARA DTAARA(QTEMP/Q1ANSTRPSN) TYPE(*CHAR)

This will cause the operation to start searching for the object
to restore at the beginning of each media file.
