APAR Error Description / Circumvention

Some spool files for a specific Application Group fail to
archive. No obvious errors in ADDRPTOND job - but MCH0603 in
related QP0ZSPWP job

CORRECTION FOR APAR SE46252 :
-----------------------------
The code did not handle a condition where the last part of the
buffer did not contain spool data, which resulted in the
MCH0603.  The problem is now fixed.

DESCRIPTION OF PROBLEM FIXED FOR APAR SE46253 :

When using PRTTXTOND on splf to get details - MCH0603 received.
If retrieving the splf into graphical indexer to build and
application group/application - the MCH0603 occurs in spawned

If an AFP data stream includes an PTOCA control code of Set
Extended Text Color (SEC) that is in chaining mode the wrong
text stream will be generated.

CORRECTION FOR APAR SE46253 :
-----------------------------
When capturing an *AFPDS spool file in-lined resources are
limited to approximately 16 megabytes.  The code is not
correctly handling if the in-lined resource exceeds the allowed
size.  Now a message will indicate that the limit has been
exceeded.

A chaining mode SEC is now handled correctly.

Large AFP resources can cause ADDRPTOND to fail.

DESCRIPTION OF PROBLEM FIXED FOR APAR SE48154 :
-----------------------------------------------
Last page of AFP spooled file not displayed after archived into
OD Common Server for iSeries. The original splf is SCS with an
overlay storing into an AFP application. Customer has AFP
application defined in Common Server. The archive of these
reports shows a successful completion message, yet some of the
reports have the last page missing when displayed in the
OnDemand Client. The AFP reports that have no triggers or
indexes on their first page (i.e., alignment page) appear to be
the ones that have their last page missing upon archive.

CORRECTION FOR APAR SE48154 :
-----------------------------
On archiving the AFPDS end page (x'D3A9AF') tag on the last page
was not included in the captured data stream.  This is now
fixed.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUPERSEDED PTF SI35730 :
=================================================

After applying this PTF, GROUP and RECORDRANGE triggers numbers 2 - n
will be directly based off trigger 1.  This is how the graphical markup
tool handles them.  What does this mean?  It means trigger 1 must be
found on a page for GROUP or RECORDRANGE triggers to be found on that
page.   Previously if trigger 1 had been found in the document then
GROUP and RECORDRANGE triggers would be found on any page.

There is a very small possibility that this will affect how some
reports are indexed.  If you are using a GROUP or RECORDRANGE trigger
that was being found on a page that did not have trigger 1 found on it
you now should use a FLOAT trigger to find that value.
