APAR Error Description / Circumvention

When a tape drive is hosted from i partition to another, a
buffer pointer is created but not initialized. When the buffer
is freed, deleting the uninitialized pointer may have
unpredictable results.

CORRECTION FOR APAR MA49308 :
-----------------------------
Apply this fix to ensure the buffer pointer is properly
initialized.
