APAR Error Description / Circumvention

-----------------------------------------------
Error message CPE3021: "The value specified for the argument is
not correct." was received when enabling secure socket ports for
the server.  After a secure socket trace was captured, the error
which is causing the invalid argument was determined to be the
password associated with a certificate store.

CORRECTION FOR APAR MA44794 :
-----------------------------
If the system job is running with a Coded Character Set
Identifier (CCSID) value that does not support lower case
letters and the password to the certificate store contains lower
case letters, a failure to open the certificate store occurs.  A
modification in the code will allow the lower case password to
be used without error when the CCSID value being used does not
support lower case letters.

CIRCUMVENTION FOR APAR MA44794 :
--------------------------------
A circumvention to this issue would be use a password that does
not contain lower case letters.

Activation Instructions
