APAR Error Description / Circumvention

During the powerdown, the partition might hang if it is set to
apply any power firmware MH PTFs.   This only affects systems
that are managing their power firmware from the IBM i OS using a
service partition and OS management.  This problem does not
affect HMC managed systems and does not affect non-service
partitions.

CORRECTION FOR APAR MA43894 :
-----------------------------
This PTF has a fix for the looping condition during in-band
powerfirmware update on the powerdown.
