APAR Error Description / Circumvention

Virtual Fibre Channel interface error data is not included when
NPIV attached disk units log Fibre Channel interface errors in
the Product Activity Log.

CORRECTION FOR APAR MA43609 :
-----------------------------
Add virtual Fibre Channel error data to the appropriate disk
unit PAL entries to improve data capture.

DESCRIPTION OF PROBLEM FIXED FOR APAR MA43608 :
-----------------------------------------------
While attempting to recover from Fibre Channel problems, a 6B25
virtual Fibre Channel adapter may unnecessarily reIPL itself.
The adapter will log SRC6B253100 in the Product Activity Log
containing the following additional information:

1- B600 3100
2- 0000 0062
3- 0001 0012
4- 9000 002C
5- 0002 0003
6- 0003 0002

This entry should be followed by a B6005120 and a B6005275 entry
for the failing 6B25 controller and IOP resources.

CORRECTION FOR APAR MA43608 :

Licensed Internal Code will change to avoid sending the VIOS a
request with a target Fibre Channel ID of zero.
