use system memory addresses not generated by the IBM translator,
including programs that circumvent control technology designed to limit
interactive capacity to purchased levels. This PTF may be a prerequisite

APAR Error Description / Circumvention

When SEA is configured with VIOS and IBM i and Large Receive off
load is enabled, sending large frames to IBM i can take longer
than normal.
CORRECTION FOR APAR MA42987 :
-----------------------------
Large Receive offload coalesces multiple packets into a single
packet, but sets a special IP header checksum in the packet that
results in TCP/IP rejecting the packet because of an invalid
checksum. TCP/IP has been modified to accept these particular
large receive offload packets.
