APAR Error Description / Circumvention

Speed and duplex reported incorrectly in the case of a working
port, when using a single-partition, non-HMC-managed system.

CORRECTION FOR APAR MA39081 :
-----------------------------
Licensed internal code has been changed to correctly report the
speed and duplex when using a Host Ethernet Adapter port on a
single-partition system with no Hardware Management Console.

CIRCUMVENTION FOR APAR MA39081 :

DESCRIPTION OF PROBLEM FIXED FOR APAR MA39370 :
-----------------------------------------------
Under some circumstances, a Host Ethernet Adapter logical port
will encounter a failure and generate a PAL entry of
SRCB60069D9. The log entry does not capture sufficient data to
determine the root cause of the failure.

CORRECTION FOR APAR MA39370 :
-----------------------------
Licensed Internal Code has been changed to collect better
failure data in cases where Host Ethernet Adapter data
transmission causes an error completion.

CIRCUMVENTION FOR APAR MA39370 :

DESCRIPTION OF PROBLEM FIXED FOR APAR MA39654 :

Under some circumstances, if a Host Ethernet Adapter encounters
an error condition that causes a Product Activity Log entry with
type B60069D9, insufficient debug data will be collected.

CORRECTION FOR APAR MA39654 :
-----------------------------
Licensed Internal Code has been changed to improve error data
collection for B60069D9 errors.
