APAR Error Description / Circumvention

When running CRTPFRDTA with a *MGTCOL object from a system that
has attached external storage subsystems, there might be missing
data in the QAPMXSTGD database file when the external subsystem
firmware is down level.

CORRECTION FOR APAR MA38888 :
-----------------------------
Collection services incorrectly processed a return code,
resulting in the missing data. The problem has been fixed so any
available data for the affected external storage subsystems is
now written into the *MGTCOL object. Existing *MGTCOL objects
that have missing data will not be fixed.

this PTF to be activated.
