Overview
The new Netfinity(R) A100 takes advantage of up to two high-performance 650 MHz Pentium III processors with Advanced Transfer (full-speed) level 2 cache. This ultrathin, rack-mounted appliance is designed specifically for high-density Web server environments. Configured and tuned at the factory, it provides a tremendous amount of power and function into a single, space-saving, 1U high rack drawer.(4)

The Netfinity A100 is preloaded with a version of Windows 2000 optimized for Web serving, and includes Microsoft IIS 5.0, and Netfinity Web Server Accelerator V2. This appliance is tuned to maximize its performance in Web hosting while minimizing setup time.

Description
Netfinity A100 is a high-throughput, two-way SMP-capable, Pentium III-based Web appliance. Standard 1 GB of 100 MHz SDRAM provides outstanding memory subsystem performance. An integrated ECC memory controller (Intel 440GX chipset) is used for host bridge/memory controller function to support up to 100 MHz processor speeds to memory. Combined with the 100 MHz front-side bus speed of standard Pentium III processors, this subsystem provides excellent system throughput for memory-hungry Web applications.
