IBM brand Intelligent Water Family IBM Work Optimization for Water Utilities Version 1.0.0

Problem codes

Problem codes are the formal classification of the reportedproblem. For example a seal failure or required repair.

The problem codes comma-separated value file defines theproblem codes to be used by IBM? Work Optimization for Water Utilities. The file mustbe named problem.csv.

Each line in theCSV file needs to be in the following format:
Problem_codeDescription
Where:
  • Problem_code is a short form for a definedproblem code. Problem_code can be up to 20 charactersin length.
  • Description is a description of the definedproblem code. Description can be up to 80 charactersin length.

If a value contains non-alphanumeric charactersfor example spaces or symbols the value must be enclosed in quotationmarks. Otherwise surrounding values with quotation marks is optional.Values cannot include double or single quotation marks. All valuesmust be separated by commas.

  • When IBM Work Optimization for Water Utilities isinitially installed all sample values can be replaced with valuesmatching the input that will be used in the production system.
