When trying to access a cube source from the browser get the premature end of script error in apache logs.

After configuring apache_mod support for the gateway, when trying to access the cognos connection portal, the 'premature end of script' error is seen in the apache logs.
Issue 1
Internal server error, the
server encountered an internal error and is unable to complete your request
Premature end of script header,
/usr/local/apache/share/cgi-bin/ppwb/temp/<file>.htm
This
occurs when attempting to connect to a cube from your browser when you are
using an Apache web server.

In the apache.log, one sees:

In the
browser, one sees:
