Possible crash due to buffer overflow in IBM Personal Communications

Troubleshooting

Problem

IBM Personal Communications telnet 3270 host printer session may crash due to buffer overflow.

Symptom

When an IBM Personal Communications 3270 printer session is configured to print 3270 host data, there is a possibility of "pcscm.exe" process terminating abnormally, leaving the "pcsws.exe" process in an inconsistent state. At this point, no new emulator sessions can be opened, unless the "pcsws.exe" processes are manually ended from the Windows Task Manager.
