PM16377 resolves the following problem:

ERROR DESCRIPTION:?
The properties file linking the com.ibm.ws.transaction.UtxImpl key to the UserTransactionImpl class has an incorrect path. This results in a NoClassDefFound error being thrown when the correct version is loaded from the com.ibm.ws.ejb.thinclient_7.0.0.jar.

PROBLEM SUMMARY:

USERS AFFECTED:
All IBM WebSphere Application Server V7.0 users of the IBM Thin Client for EJB.

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
NoClassDefFound error on class com.ibm.ws.transaction.UtxImpl

RECOMMENDATION:
None

When using the IBM Thin Client for EJB a NoClassDefFound error on class com.ibm.ws.transaction.UtxImpl is thrown when trying to create a User Transaction via JNDI.

The properties file linking the com.ibm.ws.transaction.UtxImpl key to the UserTransactionImpl class has an incorrect definition. This results in a NoClassDefFound error being thrown when the correct version is loaded from the com.ibm.ws.ejb.thinclient_7.0.0.jar.

PROBLEM CONCLUSION:?
Keys using the old com.ibm.ws.Transaction.JTA package name have been updated to use the correct com.ibm.ws.tx.jta package name.
