PROBLEM SUMMARY
USERS AFFECTED:
IBM® WebSphere® Application Server version 6.0.2 users of dynamic cache servlet caching.
PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
When specified under the cache-id element in the cachespec.xml, the do-not-cache property is not honored.
RECOMMENDATION:
None
The do-not-cache property does not function correctly if it is specified under the cache-id element in the cachespec.xml. A work-around is to specify it under the cache-entry instead.
PROBLEM CONCLUSION:
This fix allows the do-not-cache property to be specified both under the cache-entry and the cache-id stanzas in the cachespec.xml file.
The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fixpack 6.0.2.19.
