Problem

After windows updates install on Access Agent Windows client, Access Agent fails to work with the following behavior:

Users experience delayed Windows login time and once reaching the desktop, find the Access Agent stopped working with the following error:

The program can't start because VCOMP120.DLL is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.

Cause

Recent Windows Updates to Visual C++

Resolving The Problem


This problem will get resolved by either installing the Microsoft Update for
Visual C++ 2013 and Visual C++ Redistributable Package:

VCOMP120.DLL is included as part of that install patch from Microsoft, OR by re-installing the Access Agent on the client.
