Hardware Redundancy
IBM dataprocessing storage communications and control hardware is duplicatedwith backup systems. IBM regularlyupdates its hardware to improve performance and service.
Business Recovery
Toprepare for a site emergency that might impair or destroy data centerprocessing capabilities IBM providesand regularly tests a business recovery system. This system can restorenetwork capabilities to an off-site backup data center within 48 hoursof an emergency.
Data Archival
IBM maintains a completebackup file of all transmissions. If a customer experiences a problemor loses data the data can be restored. This file also helps to ensuredata integrity in the event of hardware failure. Data is archivedonline for a period up to 35 days.
