Problem
When a Maven project has the JPA facet, error message "The persistence.xml file does not have recognized content" displays in the Problems and Markers views, and the JPA Content node is empty.
Symptom
Symptoms of this problem are:
- Error message "The persistence.xml file does not have recognized content" displays in the Problems and Markers views when you:
- Convert a JPA project to a Maven project.
- Add the JPA facet to a Maven project.
- The JPA Content node in the Enterprise Explorer view is empty.
- The JPA tools functions do not work correctly.
